What is the difference between primary memory and secondary memory?

Primary memory is present on the motherboard (eg. RAM, ROM)while
secondary memory is removable (eg. Compact Disk, Pen drive).

computer. Eg. Keyboard, Mouse.

Hard disk stores all software and data. It is fixed inside the CPU
box.

What is secondary memory? Explain any two secondary storage devices.

The secondary memory is used to store the data permanently. Its data
is not erased even when the computer is switched off. Some commonly
used secondary storage devices are:

COMPACT DISK(CD) :- It is portable device that stores large amound of
data.

PEN DRIVE:- It is a small portable device that stores very large
amount of data.
