Q1. What do you mean by installation of CD?
Ans1. Installing a CD means to load the software of the CD on the hard disk of a computer so that you can run it later.

Q2. What are the requirements of a multimedia system?
Ans2. A multimedia system essentially consists of the following hardware:-
a) CD/ DVD drive for inserting CD/DVD.
b) A sound card and speakers for producing sound.
c) Colour monitor to display video.
d)Microphone and Headphone for recording and listening to sound.

Q3. What is multimedia and What is a multimedia computer?
Ans3. Multimedia is a collection of text, graphics, sound, animation and video clips and A multimedia computer is a computer, that is capable of playing sounds or music and showing graphics, video and text on the screen.

Ans5. Multimedia programs are generally used for following:

Q1. What is MS Powerpoint?
Ans1. MS PowerPoint is a presentation software, quite popular in the business world. It is used to create presentations.

Q2. What is a presentation?
Ans2. A presentation is structured and systematic delievery of information along with graphics, movies and sounds. All these are displayed together on the screen.

Q3. What is a slide show? Write the steps to view a slide show.
Ans3. Systematic display of slides on full screen is called slide show. To view a slide show, follow the given steps:-
Step1) Click SLIDE SHOW tab on the Ribbon.
Step2) Click FROM BEGINNING from the Start Slide Show group.

Q4. What is a slide?
Ans4. A page in the presentation is called slide.

Q5. What is the use of inserting a text box in the slide?
Ans5. Text box is used to add text anywhere on your slide.
