Primary memory is fixed in the motherboard (eg. RAM, ROM) while
secondary memory is removable (eg. Compact Disk, Pen drive).

What is secondary memory? Explain few storage devices.

The secondary memory is used to store the data permanently. Its data
is not erased even when the computer is switched off. Some commonly
used secondary storage devices are:

COMPACT DISK(CD) :- It is portable device that stores large amount of
data.

PEN DRIVE:- It is a small portable device that stores very large
amount of data.
c)
HARD DISK:- Hard disk stores all software and data. It is fixed
inside the CPU box.
